Barrington Oaks subdivision is in Travis County and is a part of the City of Austin. Located in the Northwest part of the city, it has easy access to Highway 183 and Spicewood Springs Road. Barrington Oaks has been one of the more popular Northwest Austin subdivisions for many years. Residents appreciate the convenience of being close to shopping, major employers, medical facilities, and recreational areas. It is a family neighborhood of quality homes priced from the upper 200’s to the upper 300’s.
The area is also located in the highly acclaimed Round Rock Independent School District. Because of its size and location, Barrington Oaks is served by two nearby elementary schools. Both Laurel Mountain and Kathy Caraway Elementary School have received the Presidential Blue Ribbon Award for excellence. Canyon Vista Middle School was recently named a Blue Ribbon School for the second time, a first for a Texas school! Having these schools serve the neighborhood is a plus for all residents.
Barrington Oaks’ cable and electrical lines are underground, creating a clean look. Its streets are comfortably wide, with curbs, gutters and sidewalks; and there is a refreshing variety of home styles from contemporary to traditional.
